Idaho Beat The Heat

High School Racing

Special "High School Racing" dates are set up at the High Desert Speedway in Gooding and at Firebird Raceway giving high school students or anyone else, the opportunity to race on a professional track in their own car. They can race each other or the can try to "Beat The Heat" by racing against police officers. As in the old days the police are called 'The Heat' so we call it Beat the Heat. High School races are set up so that you race against other schools not just the peers from your schools. At the end of the year the school and student with the most points will win a trophy and the bragging rights.
